Lessons
Coach Susan Martin, born in Simpsonville, SC bought Southside Stables from her grandparents 32 years ago. She has built everything little by little. Married 13 years ago, Susan graduated high school in 1981 and went straight to Meredith Manor equestrian school in Waverly WV. She then rode and taught lessons with AQHA Professional Horseman Connie Christopher before moving back and opening the barn. She teaches english and western riding lessons to all ages and abilities. Southside Stables hauls (lesson students and boarders) to a variety of shows-open associations and hunter circuits, and has always done very well with year end awards won. She has always tried to keep the horses looking and feeling their best with top quality grains and alfalfa hay while trying to keep prices reasonable so everyone can afford their horses. This is a fun, family oriented, professional facility. From open shows to rated shows to trail riding...Southside Stables can do it all.
